API Access

Access to ClearSports API requires:

• A valid API key obtained through our registration process
• Sufficient credits based on your subscription plan
• Proper authentication using the API key in your requests

API Key Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key. You are liable for all activities that occur under your API key. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Credit System

Our API operates on a credit-based system:

• Each API call consumes one credit
• Free tier includes 1,000 credits for testing
• Paid plans include monthly credit allocations
• Credits do not roll over between billing periods

Acceptable Use

You agree to use ClearSports API only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Attempt to exceed your credit limits through unauthorized means
• Resell or redistribute our data without permission
• Use the API in a way that damages or disrupts our services
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our data sources

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend services for maintenance, updates, or security reasons.

Data and Accuracy

While we work to provide accurate sports data, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided through our API.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the API if you violate these terms, fail to pay fees, or engage in any activity that harms our services or other users.
